After working my shift today, I came home and did 400 crunches and used the weights to work my arms for about 10-15 minutes.

I also made a smoothie with yogurt, 2 bananas, and a scoop of peanut butter.  It was pretty good.  I ordered a couple of recipe books for smoothies and juice drinks to make with our Ninja.  Hopefully, they won’t require ingredients that are hard to find, OR hard to pay for!!!

I had a chance to do one of my passions today — one that I haven’t done in a very long time.  I wrote a couple of devotions.  It felt  so good to get back to something that I love doing.  I’ve missed it, and doing it again literally made me feel like a deadened part of me was coming back to life.  I feel like that part of me has gotten “lost” in the midst of home schooling, working f/t outside the home, managing my home, etc.

Now I’m waiting on hubby to come home from taking dd to youth group so that we can have our “date” night.  I’m looking forward to that time.  It won’t be long and we won’t have to take dd to her functions because she is close to getting her driver’s license.  That will be really nice, especially with the colder weather drawing near.
