I found a “nugget” tonight as I was reading the Word.
Psalm 35:27 Modern English Version (MEV)
27 May those who favor my righteous cause
shout for joy and be glad;
may they say continually, “The Lord be magnified,
who delights in the peace of His servant.”
Do you see it? God DELIGHTS when we are at peace! I never thought of it that way. I knew I delighted when I feel peace, but I love it that HE delights when we are at peace. It’s kind of like a parent who delights in their child who no longer fears the darkness of the room when it’s time to go to bed.
This blog post covers some really interesting information and it puts it in a way that is very easy to understand.
The above article helped me to understand even more why I felt the call to pull out of church over a year ago. I was leaving church, feeling more drained than when I came in.
This is so very disturbing! Just one more reason why I don’t do facebook!
I have had to pull back from reading so many dreams, visions, etc. that I have seen online. It was overwhelming to my spirit and weighed me down. However, as I have watched the news over the last several months, and mainly in the last month, I have sensed we are right on the edge where everything is going to start hitting very rapidly. The thought keeps going through my mind, “After the first of the year.” I’m not saying this is the Lord speaking this because I don’t know that the thought is from Him.
I got up this morning to check my emails and a friend sent me a link to read “Prepare for Battle, The Time Has Come.” It resonated with me. Many of the other dreams and visions I’ve read about have evoked great fear within me. When I read this, it evoked more of a sense of, “Daughter, get your priorities in order. Stop wasting time. Stop playing on the computer. Prepare for WAR!” So even if the dream in this article is another one of those that doesn’t come to pass, it will have been good in the sense that it is making me readjust my priorities and get my main focus back on my Lord and Savior.
A friend emailed this link to me. She was listening to the guy and said he had a really interesting insight. The church isn’t really asleep. Rather she is drunk on the wine of Babylon. Have you ever tried to wake a drunk or reason with a drunk? It doesn’t work well. I thought this insight nailed it on the head!
Also, as I look at our nation and the idiotic things that are coming from Washington, like wanting to take in Syrian refugees, it sounds like the leaders are drunk on the wine of Babylon and that is why they are so willing to make such stupid decisions. Drunks make bad decisions — they drive drunk and kill innocent people. The drunkards in Washington want to let Syrian refugees come here, some of which we know will have evil intent — they will end up killing innocent people just like a drunk driver.
